Harwood Homestead is a historic 1840 Greek revival home with beautiful views from each room. Fishing and recreation are just minutes away on Lake Champlain and Lake George. The Homestead is nestled in the foothills of the Adirondacks and is right next door to the Penfield Museum, which holds a splendid display of antiques and hosts events throughout the summer. Across the road lies a man-made pond, which was created when the area's iron mining industry was a-booming. A continental breakfast, including homemade breads, fresh fruit and cereal is served each morning at your leisure in the home-like atmosphere of the comfortable parlor.
